Long battery life
The RL-H5A gives you the option of up to 60 hours of continuous usage with the rechargeable battery pack or 100 hours with (4) D cell batteries.

With the IP66 rating, the RL-H5A is “job site tough” and can withstand dust, a sudden shower and even torrential rainfall.

Difference between H5-A vs. H5-B Series
The main difference between the Topcon H5-A and H5-B lasers lies in their functionality and features:

Accuracy: The H5-A is sightly more accurate than the H5-B. The H5-A is 1/16" at 100ft. While the H5-B is 1/8" at 100ft.

Range: The H5-A has a longer range than the H5-B. The H5-A has a range of 2,600 ft. diameter. The H5-B has a range of 1,300 ft. diameter.
